Privacy notice
What this site collects
If you fill in the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell me about your project. Nothing else is required and there are no hidden fields.
If you email me directly: whatever is in your email.
Automatically, as with any website: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, recorded in the server logs my host keeps for security and troubleshooting. I do not read them routinely.
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no alternative, nothing counting you at all. That is unusual enough to be worth saying plainly: I would rather not know how many people visited than build a profile of who they were.
There are no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and no third-party scripts of any kind. The fonts are served from this site rather than from a font network, so loading this page does not tell anyone else that you were here.
Why I hold it
To answer your enquiry, to prepare a proposal if you want one, and to keep the records a UAE company is required to keep. Nothing is used for marketing unless you ask to be sent something.
I do not sell your data, and there is nobody to sell it to.
Where it actually goes
Being specific about this, because most privacy notices are not.

The company is registered in Dubai and I work from both the UAE and the United Kingdom. So your information may be accessed from either. I would rather say that than imply everything sits permanently in one country.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: twelve months, then deleted. Long enough that I can pick up a conversation you restart next year, short enough that I am not holding a pile of other people’s plans indefinitely.
Project records, contracts and invoices: kept for as long as UAE company law requires, and no longer than needed after that.
Your rights
Ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to the address above and I will deal with it within thirty days. There is no form and no process to go through.
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you can also complain to your own data protection regulator.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies when you are just reading it. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If you send the enquiry form, the site sets one short-lived cookie to check the form came from this site and not from somebody else’s. It is strictly necessary, it carries nothing about you, and it expires on its own.
If anything is ever added that changes this, this section changes and a banner appears with it.

The content is mine. The words, structure and design of this site belong to Alwarda Tech. You are welcome to read it, quote it and link to it. Please do not republish it as your own.
Prices on this site are starting points, not offers. Every project is quoted in writing after a proper brief. Nothing on this site forms a contract.
Accuracy. I keep this site current and correct. If you find something wrong, tell me and I will fix it.
Links out. Where I link to someone else’s site, I am not responsible for what is on it.
Governing law. These terms, and any dispute about this website, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.
This covers the website only. Your project is governed by whatever we sign, and for clients outside the UAE that is a different document with its own terms.
How I handle client data
This section matters more than the rest of the page, so it is written carefully.
Your customer data stays under my control. Development work is carried out in isolated environments seeded with test data, and the build team is not given access to your live systems, your production data or your accounts. Data migration, deployment and ongoing maintenance are handled by me directly.
That is a structural arrangement rather than a promise. It is why:
- You are never asked to hand over a copy of your live database for someone to develop against
- Staging environments are seeded with generated data, not with your customers
- Error reports and logs reaching anyone outside the company are stripped first
- Production credentials are not issued to anyone but me
- Maintenance on a live site is company work, not passed on
What I will not claim. I will not tell you the company is “GDPR compliant”, because the phrase means nothing on its own. I will not tell you all processing happens in the UAE, because I work from the UK as well. And I will not tell you there are no subcontractors, because that would not be true. What I will tell you is exactly what they can and cannot see.
If you are a UK or EU client and your project involves personal data, say so early. There are contract terms that need to be in place before the work starts rather than after, and I will raise them rather than wait for you to.

If any of this changes, the page changes and the date below changes with it. Nothing is altered quietly.
